The organization was formed as a result of various needs that arose in the midst of the crisis situation, where violence and conflict took place in this area in 1990s. Our main objective is to alleviate poverty by promoting economic empowerment of rural people for a sustainable livelihood. It was transformed as a separate legal entity by incorporating its services as a limited liability Company under the Companies Act of Sri Lanka.
